Bak Kwa Prata Base Pizza 7012013
My bread machine was down with flu and will be sent for repair. I couldn't help myself for making pizza again and again ;p We just love having pizza for any meal time! Today, I used frozen prata base, it was my first time baking it and wanted to do this for a long time. Baking a pizza is like step by step's photoshop layering work. First, the baking tray is oiled before you laid the frozen prata base on it. I used japanese bbq sauce on the base followed by mozzarella shredded cheese and diced bak kwa (Joeel's fav). Season with tiny pinch of salt and cracked pepper and don't forget to drizzle some extra virgin oil with some finishing and pop them into hot oven 225C for 3 minutes! When the pizza is baked, it is just like flattened art work! Served with fresh fruits which I used strawberries and yellow kiwis for colours and nutritious balance. The prata base is so fluffy crispy and the combination is simply yummy! Another laughing dish that make your pizza making so EASY! Try it and you will LOVE it! ^.^

Super Duper Vitamin C Dessert!
My cousin from Belgium, Frances, and Mrs. Encik, Cindy love to have recipe for this dessert! Here, I share with them. The recipe is very easy that you can laugh! ;p
The portion is for 2 pax. Prepare 2 small dessert bowl. All you need is a super sweet ripe mango (diced and place on each bowl), 1 orange (cut the orange into half and squeece out the juice on each bowl), some pomelo pulp (place on the diced mango), half lemon (squeeze the juice for finishing). No additional sugar or honey for sweetness.
The taste of this dessert is zesty and refreshing, natural sweetness comes from the mango. Hope you will like this recipe! Enjoy! :)

Our Japanese Curry Dinner :)
Bro Al tagged me on his picture of Japanese curry that he cooked over at Perth! He added pumpkin, mushrooms, beef, etc! Interesting mix! :) Still, I'd missed the Hungry Bear's Japanese curry rice from Japan Disneyland so much! They served nice deep fried ebi, pork cutlets and mixed salad with the Japanese curry rice! It was awesome! Crazy ideas of cooking Japanese curry came to my mind! I even drafted out my ideas on one of the note book that my student gave it to me as a Teacher's Day present. I used to do that on the recycle envelops, maybe I should put them together, I wasn't sure whether I threw them away or still keeping them! Will find time to do that! :)
Yes, I finally get to cook Japanese curry! We had a stomach filling dinner! The pork cutlet was too BIG piece and Joeel enjoyed it so much! :)

Tomato Basil Pizza! TGIF!
I just bought a pot of fresh Italian sweet basil from the Chong Pang market this morning. I love the beautiful scent from the basil leaves! What came to my mind was, I was so going to make Italian style tomato & basil pizza!
To make it a more completed meal, I'd added ribbon pasta as to make our lunch fuller. Also, with pine nuts toppings made this nutritious value even richer!
TGIF! We'd a good lunch! :)

Going GREENS with Mixed Mushrooms Pizza!
We are going GREENS with the homemade mixed mushrooms & olives pizza. The mixed mushrooms included white button mushrooms, Swiss brown mushrooms and portobello mushrooms. I bought the greens called the Italian Mix! Accompanied with cherry tomatoes, avocado, and the dressing is naturally from the passion fruits! Sprinkle some sesame seeds and WA LAH!
We had a beautiful meal for this evening dinner, absolutely no meat and no lard! It indeed make us a happier person for a day! Well, it's a healthier choice! We should do this more often, will think of more vegetable friendly dishes :)

Lazy Sunday Bento
It was a lazy Sunday for both of us. We woke up as early as 5am in the morning to catch the ROS ride with LCSG group. After the ride and a good catch up with the pals, it can be tiring for me to do anything at all from home, we even thought of dining out for dinner! Restlessly, we were too lazy to go out! Ah Ha! I remember my Mother in law packed some leftover food from last Friday's birthday dinner! Dig out whatever I have from the fridge and TA DA~! :D

Mess Tin Bento
Our friend Encik George shared us the latest SAF show on the facebook and invited all of us! Joeel told me how much he'd missed his army days after he'd ROD from the National Service.
He came out with a crazy idea that the mess tin he used them during the army time, from there he requested me to make bento out of it! He's so lucky, I was off today from the classes and here I come with my cooking spirit!
He told me, this is the best mess tin food he ever had! :)
